Upgrade Program

ITC has a policy of upgrading systems in the field to maintain the customers investment in their equipment for the longest possible period of time. Currently available upgrades include:

Throughput Upgrade As the number of probes on the card increases so does test time. Because Probilt's timing is not dependant on a specific computer motherboard, significant throughput increases can be achieved by upgrading to the latest Pentium microprocessor, increasing the amount of RAM and upgrading to a faster hard drive. The latest version of Probilt software, revision 5.0, also dramatically improves throughput by allowing the user to overlap tests. Additional speed increases can be achieved by upgrading your stage to our latest standards. Your operators will appreciate greatly reduced test times, and in addition to increased throughput, this option will also improve accuracy and repeatability. You decide how much additional throughput you need. Upgrade the microprocessor, memory, hard drive, software, stage or all of these items.

Video Processor/Optics Upgrade Alignment and tip diameter specifications are getting tighter every day. Also, new probe technologies are being developed which require more control over the lighting and image processing. All this leads to tighter requirements for accuracy and repeatability. Significant improvements are available with our new LED optics and video processor boards. Upgrading your video today will provide immediate results.

Alignment Accuracy Upgrade Alignment specifications are constantly shrinking. Upgrading your stage resolution provides significant improvement in accuracy and repeatability. ITC's solution has the added benefit of maintaining the same throughput at the higher accuracy.

Hot Chuck Option/Upgrade Test all your new and old probe card technologies under true elevated temperature conditions on your Probilt™. Our solution equips your analyzer with the hardware and control systems to duplicate the prober elevated temperature environments. This option gives you real data, not guesswork or second had information.

ProbeTracker� The ProbeTracker software controlled upper microscope drive can be added to any PB3500 or PB6500 to allow repair and retest of needles on fine pitch probe cards in the "tips-up" position. This option can reduce probe card repair times by as much as half.
