Power Test Net (PTNet) is an ITC proprietary program that provides networking of multiple ITC test products. This program communicates from the server PC to all testers via a single two-wire, RS-485 network.

PTNet extends the capabilities of ITC's semiconductor testers by allowing them to be operated and controlled by a client PC located anywhere in the world. More importantly, PTNet gives users the ability to share data. In other words, PTNet allows ITC's testers to be operated over your company's intranet or via the Internet or via one server PC running PTNet. Multiple testers with different configurations and of different types can be monitored, parameters updated, added, or deleted, and test results viewed in real-time, using each tester's specific application program.

Production Mode software uses a intuitive GUI interface to control tester operation in a production environment, as well as to allow test results to be viewed and select each testers' parameters. Also included is user login, using passwords for controlling each user's access to the tester's functions. Device sorting is limited only to the device handler's number of hardware bins. Virtual binning is available in Production Mode software to acquire data from multiple production lots for SPC control charts.

Test results are logged and waveform analysis will be performed. Overall production environment parameters such as idle times, device yeilds, operator tracking, and down times are logged for production management. Production Mode software requires the PTNet software running on a server PC to operate.
