INCREASED THROUGHPUT - New video capture cards are faster and provide more accurate capture which speeds up alignment by up to 50%. Upgrading to the Pentium P4 processor further improves test throughput, data analysis and screen update times.

IMPROVED REPEATABILITY - The new LED light source for Probilts lower camera provides even light distribution across the entire field of view, which enhances the multi-probe capture accuracy and speeds up the test process.

EASIER SET-UP - The consistency of the new LED light source across the field of view, and over time, allows the user to set-up and save the lighting recipe once for each probe card technology. The recipe can be used with each probe card of that technology type. This saves time during changeover between technologies and when setting up new probe cards and also removes operator to operator set-up differences.

MACHINE TO MACHINE REPEATABILITY - This consistency of the LED light source also allows lighting recipes to be shared between machines, greatly improving the correlation of tests between the probe card supplier and their customer or within the customers facility across multiple machines.

LOWER OPERATING COSTS - The LED light source has a much greater lifetime than any standard lighting technique. Its consistency over the whole of its lifetime reduces the number of operator or technician interventions required to keep the probe card analyzer functioning to maximum capability.
